Japan's Kawasaki has recently announced their efSET, the Environmentally Friendly Super Express Train, capable of speeds of up to 349.2 kph.
Meanwhile, plans are on their way in California for their high-speed rail system designed to rapidly link all of the major California cities. The interactive website alone is worth the visit.
