Recently disclosed diary entries belonging to a senior member of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) has revealed that during the First World War it experimented with using semen as an invisible ink to write top-secret letters.

The, ah, ink had the advantage of not reacting to the main methods of detection and was, at least in the male spies, readily available (as long as precautions were taken in only using fresh supplies...).

The name of the mastermind behind this ingenious plan? Mansfield Cumming.
