Love Makes You Increasingly Ignorant of Your Partner

According to Bruce Bower down at Wired, long-lasting marriages may thrive on love, compromise and increasing ignorance about one another.

Reportedly, so say a whole bunch of psychologists, the longer a couple has been married, the less they knew about their partners' food, movie and kitchen-design preferences; meanwhile, couples that had been married or committed for a year or two, knew all about them.

Seriously, though: kitchen-design preferences? Why not shower-curtain motifs? It's starting to sound like university professors are running out of good ideas to get funding for their "studies".
